Mr. Djuric’s teaching follows a natural progression: students first master the language of music, then understand how it works, and finally learn to communicate with an individual voice.
Master the language
Posture, tone, rhythm, intonation, notation, and efficient practice give students a dependable musical vocabulary.
Understand the music
Students examine phrase, harmony, structure, style, and ensemble relationships so their musical decisions have reasons behind them.
Communicate with purpose
Interpretation, performance, and audition preparation help students move beyond playing correctly and learn to say something meaningful.

Aleksandar “Alek” Djuric is a Juilliard-trained violist, conductor, educator, and producer with 29 years of experience helping students become capable, thoughtful musicians.
His work spans private instruction, orchestral direction, chamber music, performance, and music production. His ensembles have earned top ratings at district and state assessments, while generations of students have continued into conservatories, universities, professional work, and lifelong music-making.
Now teaching independently across Miami and the Treasure Coast, Mr. Djuric brings the structure of an orchestra director and the attention of a private mentor to every student.
